Here is how to turn on revenue andenable ads on YouTube after monetization Hi, today, let's talk about how to turn ads on on YouTube specifically right after you have been approved for monetization very important to knowregardless of what parts of the monetization process you might be in somake sure to watch and understand this video in full once you achieve onethousand subscribers and four thousand hours of watch time within a 12-monthperiod your YouTube channel will now qualify for monetization at this stageYouTube will review your channel and either approve or disapprove yourchannel to run ads it could take weeks or months or as quickly as 24 to 48hours depending on your luck upon approval you will receive this emailcongratulations you've been approved to join the YouTube Partner Program upon further elaboration you will see this congratulations your YouTube channel hasbeen accepted into the YouTube Partner Program and is now able to monetize onYouTube you're good to go right your channel is now monetized right yourvideos are now already making money right wrong be on the lookout for afollow up email that says apply for monetization your channel has passed 1000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours and has passed the requirements it says however your channel is not monetizing just yet you will need to go to themonetization section of your YouTube studio
In order to proceed to the next steps even though it says if you've already accepted terms and set up Adsense then no further action is needed that's not necessarily true yes you do need to accept the terms and set up Adsense but even after you had already done so once you receive this email you do indeed need to go into your YouTubestudio after getting accepted into the partner program this is how your monetization screen will now look like at least at the time of this video or money from your YouTube channel it says see all the waste you can earn money for what you love to do definitely a good idea to click on this button to learn more but first things first your channel is not yet monetized up top you will see an alert from YouTube congratulations you have been accepted into the YouTube Partner Program.
You can now monetize your videos and access support you're good to go right wrong again on the top right corner of the screen on the same bar, in fact, you will see the words monetize videos click on that it will now prompt you to set up your monetization preferences if you want to turn on your ad revenue immediately under do you want to monetize existing videos select monetize all videos now scroll down to your ad settings to select the types of ads you want your channel to display take a closer look at the diagrams to see where your ads will display and choose the ones that you want by default they are all checked and for me I'm just going to leave all of them as they are and click on apply preferences.
